This site is devoted to truth and understanding of basic  radio operation. I don't know everything but maybe some of the things i have learned over the years will stop you from making the same mistakes i did.

A CB RADIO IS JUST LIKE A RACE CAR. IF YOU DON'T TUNE IT CORRECTLY THEN IT WILL NEVER REACH PEAK PERFORMANCE!

I have been a Driver for over 13 years and have been burnt by many CB techs across the country because i did not know any better. Much of what you will find here has been taken from various web site to inform and educate you and i thank those people for there time and effort. I took the time to build this site so that with the knowledge you gain here you can make the correct decisions when visiting your local CB tech. Remember that these people have only one goal and that is to make as much money off of you as possible. By far most of the modifications that are done to CB radios only serve to decrease the sound quality and performance of your radio and line the pocket of the so called CB tech. Mod kits/swing kits are something to be avoided and so are the people that push these types of tricks to the unsuspecting and trusting driver. If you take the time to read this information it will help you in deciding what should and should not be done to any radio.........unless of course you would like to sound like some stupid trucker with an over modulated radio!!
